Even before Weiwei graduated from the National University of Singapore, she already had Chere registered as a business. That was in 2009 and since then she has planned more than a hundred weddings big and small. During her active wedding planning years, Weiwei also taught at the Institute of Certified Wedding Planners, where she trained and guided hopeful planners looking to enter the wedding industry.
Since the pandemic, the team has ventured out into other areas of expertise. Weiwei has gained invaluable experiences in human development and growth, furthering her interest in technology and design. Now, Chere has been pivoted to provide digital wedding consultations to couples planning their wedding.
Currently living in Guangzhou, China, Weiwei continues to contribute to the wedding industry through The Wed Mag.

She is obsessed with details yet she loves the big picture. She likes to let her imagination run wild but also makes it a point to remain logical. This isn't exactly a bad thing for a planner because they often have to balance two sides of a pole.
