New wedding venues to explore in Singapore – Hotels edition

Ideas

Hotels are one of the more sought-after and preferred venues for soon-to-be couples in Singapore these days, many of which chosen for their outstanding in-house facilities and alluring interiors. Here in this article, we have put together a list of hotels fresh out from the oven, either newly remodeled or entirely brand-new for you to toss around and think over.

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

First up on the list is The Capitol Kempinski Hotel, located along the picturesque grounds of Stamford road Singapore. Formerly occupied by Capital building and Stamford house, both buildings have now been re-established into this newly built hotel, surrounded by colonial-inspired and modernly designed walls.

A 5-star hotel home to over 150 guestrooms and suites, its designs were motivated by early-American architecture and structures with consistent monochrome themes. Stepping into the various rooms would transport you to another dimension of being one with nature, every corner filled with earthy and folksy tones. If you are someone who appreciates art inspired from early immigrant periods, having your wedding held here would definitely be a dream come true!

Village Hotel Sentosa

A stone-throw away from sunny beaches and clear waters is Village Hotel Sentosa – a newly launched four-star hotel by Far East Hospitality Singapore along Sentosa Island where sandcastles are built, and waves are surfed. A lush hotel home to over 600 tropically themed rooms, this is a dreamland for outdoor enthusiasts and lovers of the sun.

Other than its rooms, Village Hotel Sentosa is also equipped with over 800 square meters of flexible spaces, perfect for small to mid-scale celebrations and weddings. Just imagine standing on the edge of a coast with your significant other, while the glistening sea and rays of the setting sun acts as the perfect backdrop on your special day – it would be, in no doubt, an experience beyond compare.

Outpost Hotel Singapore

Yet another new hotel at Sentosa, Outpost Hotel Singapore is a good choice for trendy getaways within this small red dot. An exclusive accommodation catering exclusively to adults, this hotel is equipped with 193 guest rooms of stylish monochrome designs, all of which inspired by Sentosa’s Heritage as a colonial base back in the olden days.

Perfect for newly wed couples, Outpost Hotel Singapore is catered to adults and couples seeking exclusivity and privacy, through the offering of personalized services and amenities specially for their guests. Some of the things which you can look forward to are stunning views of the sea and island from your rooms, as well as luxurious toiletries kits within each room by Australian beauty brand APPELLES Apothecary & Lab. With the view of the beach at the reach of your fingers, relaxation would be a striking distance away.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore

A landmark yet to raise its curtains is Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, a hotel integrated with hints of Thai culture and art, set to open in the year 2020. Launched by a well-established Thailand company known as Dusit International with a current number of 25 properties worldwide, they proud themselves as a leader in hotel management within the industry.

Enriched with gorgeous and spectacular interiors together with an abundance of event spaces within its walls, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore extends its arms to almost any kinds of celebrations you can imagine – weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or even gender reveal parties – anything is possible! To take things up a notch, benefits of holding your event here would be the complimentary suite upgrades, as well as signature amenities provided specially for your enjoyment. With all these, stepping into Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore would immediately bring you back to its homeland – the land of smiles.

Raffles Hotel

After a long 2 years of restoration works, Raffles Hotel has announced its planned reopening date in August 2019! Fans of this heritage hotel will rejoice, as they can look forward to many brand-new amenities – newly opened bars, pristine courtyards, and cozy social spaces.  Especially for lovers of nature, this hotel would be the perfect retreat from the fast-paced life in this tiny red dot. Impeccably blending into the hotel are lush tropical gardens, which would turn waking up early into a luxury, instead of a chore.

Home to 9 different varieties of suites, Raffles Hotel Singapore extends its welcome to a wide range of guests. If you are looking at hosting a rather major-scaled event, its grand ballroom is an excellent choice to accommodate your ideas. Having taken over the former historic Jubilee Hall theatre, the Grand ballroom is able to sit over 300 guests in one single sitting. Along with jaw-dropping lightings and lavish chandeliers, your event would surely be taken to the next level.

Caroline Mansion at St. Regis

The last venue on this list is a rather special one – instead of a hotel, we are looking at an entirely new event space built within the grounds of the famous St. Regis Hotel Singapore. This extravagant ballroom was given the title of “Caroline Mansion”, which was named in honor of Caroline Astor – mother of St. Regis founder, John Jacob Astor IV. Interior outlooks were inspired by Caroline Astor’s home back in her home-town, New York, where splashes of white and black are complemented by hints of gold.

After a whopping period of ten months, the construction of Caroline Mansion was completed in January 2019, bringing us to what we see now – a contemporary ballroom that flaunts a nine-meter double-height ceiling, complemented with over 370 meters of space within. Equipped with five projection screens, elevated projectors and modern technology equipment, visuals portrayed within the ballroom would be spectacular and jaw-dropping not only for you, but your guests as well.
